Openverse Ecosystem

Open Foundation and Openverse Team

Bring real applications into Openverse to Ecosystem

Recruiting operators with a real product and the ability to run it. Applications close on 20 April 2027.

01

Apply with a real product

02

Set the KPI and review path

03

Operate, verify, then settle

Two parties, separate work

Open Foundation

Non-technical ecosystem operations, and coordination between projects.

Openverse Team

The technical ecosystem, the protocol, and technical coordination related to OpenOS.

There is no cap on the number of projects. Anyone who qualifies can apply, but rewards are paid only after targets are met and the final audit is passed. This stage needs scaled real users and real applications before 20 April 2027. One million real users is the core goal.

Where this stage is headed

1 million

Real, valid users

Through global recruitment, live applications, and continued operation, build a user base that can keep growing. The target is 1,000,000 real, valid users.

Mainnet onto spot markets at major exchanges

Fill in applications, use cases, and infrastructure. Push BTG onto spot markets at major global centralized exchanges, and support deposits and withdrawals on the Openverse Network main chain.

25 USD

Value moving this way

Move long-term value toward 25 USD/BTG through the ecosystem, users, use cases, and the market. This is a direction, not a price promise.

The network needs real uses

Only operators in the directions below are eligible. Individual users are not in this reward set.

How assets move

  • On-chain assets

Issuance, transfer, trading, and use of BTG and other digital assets that meet the rules.

  • DeFi and DEX

Swaps, liquidity, lending, yield, and other financial applications.

  • Payments

BTG, VRC-10, and on-chain settlement among merchants, users, and services.

How people use it

  • DApps

Games, social, education, tools, and enterprise services connected directly to Openverse Network.

  • User tools

On-chain use of wallets, accounts, identity, asset management, and other personal tools.

  • RWA

Digitizing, registering, or transferring real-world assets, where it is compliant.

Developers and protocol

Rewards follow results, not applications

First to 1 million real users

5,000,000

BTG, paid once, after the fact

During the plan period, the first operator to reach 1,000,000 real, valid users and pass the final audit receives this. Who is first depends on verifiable raw data, timestamps, and the audit result, counted only after abnormal data is removed.

100,000 real users

500,000 BTG

Reach 100,000 real, valid users and pass review, then a one-time reward paid afterward. There is no cap on the number of projects.

Under 100,000, with a real contribution

1-3 BTG / user

Below 100,000 real users, there is no automatic reward. After review confirms valid users and a valid contribution, the rate is 1-3 BTG per valid user. The band depends on quality, activity, retention, on-chain behavior, and contribution to the ecosystem, and it is limited by the dedicated pool.

A registration count is not a user count

What counts

Each project can use its own definition of a valid user. It may combine account behavior, device and IP, frequency of use, retention, on-chain activity, trades, use of core features, and acquisition channel.

  • Trading must exclude wash volume, matched trades, self-trades, and circular trades.
  • Payments must be checked to a real merchant, a real payer, a real order, and actual settlement.
  • Games, social, and education must show real use and continued activity.

These do not count

  • Bulk registration
  • Scripted volume
  • Sybil addresses
  • Bot accounts
  • Fake users

Abnormal data, duplicate data, and data that clearly does not look like real use are removed.

Operators must keep raw data, the counting method, and audit evidence. Different tracks can use different review standards.

Seven things the review looks at

  1. Real users

Scale, authenticity, source, and the quality of growth among valid users.

  2. Activity and retention

Use of core features, active periods, and retention.

  3. Network use

On-chain activity, asset use, trading, payments, or other real use of the network.

  4. Ecosystem contribution

Pull-through for other projects, users, developers, and ecosystem traffic.

  5. Product value

Completeness, a real use case, and the ability to commercialize or operate over the long term.

  6. Technology and innovation

Implementation, protocol innovation, and technical contribution to OpenOS or the ecosystem.

  7. Global reach

Market coverage, community, channels, and the ability to keep growing.

From application to payout

  1. Submit an application

  2. Screening and discussion

  3. Set the KPI and the review method

  4. Operate and grow

  5. Submit stage data

  6. Remove abnormal data

  7. Confirm the target is met

  8. Pay the reward

Applications end on this day

Application deadline

2027.04.20

The review cycle, how stage data is submitted, and when the final audit happens are set by both sides for that project.

Applying does not guarantee a reward. Payment depends on meeting the target, a valid contribution, and the final audit. When 11 million BTG is used up, the plan ends.

Before you leave, keep these in view

Who runs it

Open Foundation handles ecosystem operations and coordination between projects. Openverse Team handles the technical ecosystem, the protocol, and work related to OpenOS. This page covers Ecosystem Incentives only. The pool, the audience, and the rules are not shared with Validator Options.

What is not a promise

Applying does not award anything by itself. Rewards are paid only after targets are met, the contribution passes review, and the final audit is done. The dedicated pool is 11 million BTG and ends when it is used up. Moving value toward 25 USD/BTG is a direction, not a price promise. A real user is not a registration count.
